Two charged as NSW Police seize cannabis, cash and weapons in South Coast raids

Two men have been charged after police seized 35 cannabis plants, weapons and paraphernalia bearing Nazi iconography as part of a probe into drug supply on the New South Wales South Coast.

The search warrants were executed as part of a weeks-long investigation into outlaw motorcycle gang involvement in the cultivation and supply of cannabis down the state’s coastline.

The state’s Raptor Squad partnered with the Lake Illawarra and South Coast police districts as part of the investigation.

Police searched three properties in Koonawarra, Greenwell Point and Flinders and arrested two men who they allege are members of outlaw motorcycle gangs on Thursday morning.

The first property searched was at Koonawarra, where police say they discovered a hydroponic set-up for growing cannabis.
