South Wales Police has carried out raids at three properties in the past week and discovered large quantities of drugs including cocaine and cannabis plants. Officers executed a warrant at a property in Maes Y Dre in Glynneath last Tuesday (December 19), where they found “a large quantity of mature cannabis plants”.
Following the raids, sergeant Will John, of South Wales Police, said: “This success has come as a result of community intelligence, with local residents understandably concerned. Our stance on drug dealers is clear: we will arrest them as soon as possible, as drugs have incredibly harmful effects both on individuals and on their communities.
