The Dubai Customs taskforce, Siyaj, (which is the first integrated control system in the world comprising of sophisticated AI technologies, rapid intervention teams that work 24/7, electric vehicles, drones, and a K9 sniffing dog unit), conducted operation Wheelhouse with the help of state-of-the-art Periscope technology.
This new technology is designed for examining confined spaces and provides high resolution images in darkness. In this case, it aided in intercepting the smuggling of 234.68 kilograms of narcotics (which have been specified to be hashish) at the Dubai Creek and Deira Wharfage Customs Center.
