Department of Cannabis Control’s Notice of Availability and Second Virtual Meeting for a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Licensing of Commercial Cannabis Cultivation in Mendocino County Project

Due to technical difficulties experienced at today’s public comment meeting, the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) will extend the public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Licensing of Commercial Cannabis Cultivation in Mendocino County Project to June 24, 2024.

In addition, the DCC will hold a second Virtual Meeting for a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Licensing of Commercial Cannabis Cultivation in Mendocino County Project on June 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Attendees may participate via WebEx online meeting platform or telephone conferencing.

As specified in the CEQA Guidelines and the DCC’s Notice of Availability, the Draft EIR has been circulated for public review and comment for a 45-day period. The comment period started on May 3, 2024, and ends on June 24, 2024. Instructions for submitting a public comment may be found in the Notice of Availability, located on the DCC’s website.
