Today, Pomona Mayor Tim Sandoval received a donation check from STIIIZY, the top-selling cannabis brand in the U.S, in the amount of $230K to go toward improving and revitalizing local parks and schools within the STIIIZY Pomona store location vicinity. District 1 Councilmember, John Nolte was also in attendance to thank STIIIZY president Tak Sato for the generous donation. To date, STIIIZY has donated approximately $730K to the city with the purpose of improving local parks and schools in Pomona, and over $4.5 million in cannabis taxes – amounting to over $5 million paid to the city of Pomona in three years.
