It’s an ever revolving door at Cann Group Australia
Here’s the latest via Cannabiz Australia
Cann Group has parted ways with chief financial officer Tony Di Pietro after just four months in the role and named former Melbourne Racing Club executive David Hine as finance manager.
The firm said Di Pietro’s departure was “mutually agreed”, with a need to cut costs and the existing financial expertise within the senior management team identified as the reasons for his exit.
His responsibilities will be split between chief executive and managing director Jenni Pilcher, company secretary Steven Notaro and Hine.
Hine joins Cann Group from communication business Whispir after a three-year spell as finance manager at Melbourne Racing Club.
“The decision acknowledges that with Jenni Pilcher’s permanent appointment as CEO and managing director, her extensive experience as CFO for ASX-listed companies results in overlapping competencies with Tony’s role,” the company said in a statement.
