AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Cannabis Control Program has revoked Green Reserve’s retail cannabis license.
The business is located at 484 State Route 37.
Green Reserve has reportedly violated Section 6.02 (2)(a), failure to remit tribal retail fees from March 2022 to present day. The suspension notice, served to the owner on Aug. 19, signified the immediate suspension of the SRMT Cannabis license and no further attempts to remain in compliance have been made by the retailer.
Member-owned licensed properties that comply with tribal regulations play a crucial role in supporting programs that assist Tribal community members, a press release said.
