The Department of Cannabis Control’s Cannabis Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The CAC is established in statute to advise the Department on the development of standards, best practices, and regulations that protect public health and safety and advance a safer, sustainable, equitable, and well-regulated cannabis market.
The Department will welcome several new members to the CAC who have been recently appointed by the Director and will hear feedback from the committee and the public on draft proposed regulations on cannabis cultivation and minimum sanitation standards. The Department looks forward to a robust conversation to support meaningful regulatory updates that benefit all Californians.
