Addition of 10g packaging size option for dried Cannabis spp. plant parts other than seed
Effective from 16 September 2025
Biosecurity Import Conditions
The Department has allowed for dried Cannabis plant parts other than seed to be imported in 10g packaging size that is not subject to inspection.
Packaging limitation of 10g per package has been determined to be a suitable remedial option to sufficiently mitigate the biosecurity risks associated with dried Cannabis plant parts other than seed.
