MedCanG Amendment Act: Statement from the LAG Drug Policy Berlin 2025-10-14

We, the LAG drug policy Berlin, have commented in detail on the cabinet decision of the black-red federal government to amend the Medical Cannabis Act (MedCanG), i.e. specifically on the planned online prescription ban and shipping ban on medical cannabis flowers, in a separate position paper.

As a state working group, we are a kind of think tank within Alliance 90/The Greens Berlin. Our proposals are NOT positions of the entire party – but we hope that they will be incorporated into the political work of the Green parliamentary group and thus the federal government.
