We are honored to receive the 2025 Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA) Ally of the Year award, recognizing the firm’s commitment to elevating Indigenous voices in cannabis and hemp. Partner Jason Tarasek accepted the award on behalf of the firm during the National Indigenous Cannabis Policy Summit in Washington, D.C.
Over the past year, Vicente LLP has deepened its collaboration with ICIA and Tribal Nations nationwide, co-developing the first comprehensive Tribal Cannabis & Hemp Programs Map, supporting regional policy summits, engaging in national conversations on Indigenous cannabis economies, and expanding its Tribal Cannabis & Hemp practice under a sovereignty-first framework.
