2026 Cannabis Legal Briefing & Legislative Outlook (Private Event)

With the attorneys at Butler Snow, we are hosting a select group of existing and prospective Texas Compassionate User Program (TCUP) licensees, industry attorneys and policy experts for an in-person briefing on the current and future outlook of Texas medical cannabis.

A Party to End Prohibition, Benefiting Choose Safety

During TCPC week, Vicente LLP and Realm of Caring will co-host A Party to End Prohibition, a small gathering benefiting Choose Safety, a new national nonprofit and nonpartisan advocacy campaign focused on public safety, evidence-based education, and sensible cannabis policy.

The event will include a briefing on the future of federal cannabis reform and its intersection with state cannabis and hemp policy. Remarks will be provided by Vicente partner Shawn Hauser and Realm of Caring Executive Director Sasha Kalcheff-Korn, with additional remarks from Heather Fazio of the Texas Cannabis Policy Center.

The event will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at a private venue in Austin. Attendance is supported through a $25 minimum donation benefiting Choose Safety. Additional donation options are available via Eventbrite.
