A Senate Republican has introduced a bill that would repeal a law passed last year to create a cannabis wholesale tax.
A lawsuit over PA 23 of 2025 is winding through the courts in a battle between the state and cannabis industry over whether the law is constitutional and the votes by which it passed.
Sen. Jonathan Lindsey, R-Coldwater, introduced SB 810 on Thursday, which would repeal the 2025 act.
