A former manager with Bay County Emergency Services has been arrested by deputies who say they caught him transporting drugs in an ambulance he co-owns.
According to WMBB, 42-year-old Gabriel Moschella was arrested during a joint operation by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Panama City Beach Police.
The incident unfolded when deputies stopped an ambulance on Highway 79 near the West Bay Bridge.
Investigators said Moschella was driving the ambulance, which belongs to Coastal Care EMS, a private ambulance company he co-owns. During the stop, deputies reported finding nearly 53 grams of cocaine, about $22,000 in cash, a handgun, and materials commonly used in drug transactions.
