Lefter Alla, was questioned today by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. For about 1 hour and 20 minutes, the mayor gave his testimony before the prosecutors of the case, while he was accompanied by his lawyer, Petrit Ismaili.
Journalist Klodiana Lala in a live report for ‘News24’ from outside the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office, claimed that the mayor Alla refused to give long comments to the media, as he left this institution. Alla said that he gave the comments at the prosecutor’s office. The mayor also claimed that the issue of his suspension from office or not is in the hands of justice.
“We’ll talk another time. We’ll have time. I have no comments today. I have the comments in the prosecutor’s office. Justice is in charge of this (suspension from duty),” Alla said. Sources for journalist Lala said that during questioning, Alla is said to have denied the accusations against him.
