Officers from the Civil Guard’s Investigation Unit in Granadilla de Abona have arrested one individual and are investigating another in connection with drug trafficking charges as part of ‘Operation Nisqa’.

The operation commenced in May 2025, following information received about a premises allegedly advertising a cannabis club where narcotic substances were purportedly being sold.

Throughout the investigation, officers conducted various operational services, identifying several individuals purchasing different narcotic substances, such as marijuana and hashish, in the club. In some cases, these buyers were tourists visiting the island.
Seizure of Evidence
After months of gathering sufficient evidence, the officers executed a judicially sanctioned search warrant. They seized a large quantity of marijuana and hashish, cash, and numerous documents that linked the premises to illicit activities.
Conclusion of the Investigation
With the evidence gathered and the arrest made, the investigation concluded, leading to the closure of the drug-selling point. The arrestee and the case details have been submitted to the appropriate judicial authority.
