Updated Guidance: Outdoor Security

The Board published an updated version of the Outdoor Security Guidance which can be found here.

The small updates to the guidance are intended to provide additional clarity around outdoor cultivation security requirements. Specifically, the revised guidance includes an expanded definition of fencing and clarifies that fencing may consist of either constructed barriers or naturally occurring features of the land.

If cultivators have any questions about these updates, please reach out to the Compliance and Enforcement Team at CCB.Compliance@vermont.gov

Help keep cannabis safe and secure: VTHelplink locking storage bags

Secure storage of cannabis is particularly important for anyone with young children or pets in the home. The CCB is sharing this Health Department-funded resource with the community as part of our shared commitment to public health and safety. These storage bags can be ordered without cost from the VTHelplink.org website. (Supplies are limited, only one order per customer please.)

Use these bags as an extra layer of protection to add to other safe storage practices, such as placing on high shelves, behind closed doors, or in locked medicine cabinets. For more information on safe storage, visit HealthVermont.gov/HealthyAtHome
