The Anti-Narcotics Department arrested 9 people on Monday in separate cases and seized narcotic substances and marijuana plants in the governorates of Bethlehem, Hebron, and Ramallah.
In Bethlehem, the Anti-Narcotics Department arrested 5 people in five separate cases and seized substances suspected to be marijuana, processed cannabis, and hashish, in addition to drug-use equipment.
In Hebron, after gathering information and conducting investigations, the Anti-Narcotics Department carried out operations targeting several locations suspected of being used for the distribution and consumption of narcotic substances. The operations resulted in the arrest of 3 people and the seizure of quantities of hashish and marijuana, several Captagon pills, as well as marijuana plants.
In Ramallah, the Anti-Narcotics Department arrested a person suspected of trafficking narcotic substances and seized from his possession drug pills and a substance suspected to be hashish.
The suspects and seized items were taken into custody and referred to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
