Vermont Lt. Governor John Rodgers is in hot water for allegedly violating state cannabis laws by growing weed at an unauthorized location.
The Vermont Cannabis Control Board says Rodgers is licensed to grow at his property on Rodgers Road in West Glover, but not at another property, where CCB officials say they found hundreds of cannabis seedlings during an inspection.
In a response to the CCB, Rodgers said he moved his starter plants out to permitted fields a few days later. Rodgers appeared before the board in a closed-door hearing Wednesday, where a resolution was reached.
Those results have not been publicly released.
