Cesar Valdes, 89, and Magdaleno Medina, 73, were arrested Wednesday on charges including armed trafficking in cocaine, cocaine possession with intent to sell or deliver, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a place for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, arrest reports said.
A pair of elderly men are facing charges after an undercover operation revealed a cocaine trafficking operation at a Miami home, authorities said.
Cesar Valdes, 89, and Magdaleno Medina, 73, were arrested Wednesday on charges including armed trafficking in cocaine, cocaine possession with intent to sell or deliver, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a place for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, arrest reports said.
According to the reports, an undercover agent made a cocaine purchase from Medina at a home on Northwest 19th Street last month.
On Wednesday, Miami Police’s Special Investigation Section and SWAT executed a search warrant at the home and took Valdes and Medina into custody.
A search of the home turned up dozens of baggies containing a total of over 140 grams of cocaine, more than a dozen baggies containing over 1,275 grams of marijuana, as well as two firearms, ammunition and $4,880 in cash, the reports said.
A records check showed both of the guns had been reported stolen, the reports said.
