The purpose of this course is to assist students in developing an understanding of the substantive legal framework and underlying policy considerations governing M&A in the Canadian cannabis industry. Through an interactive format, students will identify and assess the legal and business issues facing participants in the cannabis industry as well as those facing securities regulators and industry participants.
