The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is issuing an additional Health and Safety Advisory due to the identification of potentially contaminated Retail Marijuana Concentrates and Vaporizer Delivery Devices produced and sold by Karing Kind, LLC, doing business as Karing Kind. The Division previously issued a Health and Safety Advisory on November 26, 2025, and further investigation has identified an additional batch that should be included in the Advisory. The investigation remains ongoing and may lead to the inclusion of additional batches over the next several days.
The CDPHE and DOR deem it a threat to public health and safety when marijuana is found to have pesticides above the acceptable limits established in Colorado Marijuana Rule 4‐215. This Advisory includes Production Batches that were tested and found to have exceeded the acceptable limits established for the pesticides chlorfenapyr and paclobutrazol.
Karing Kind, LLC, collaborated with the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) to initiate a voluntary recall for the affected Production Batches. The affected product was sold between November 9, 2024, and December 8, 2025, at six dispensaries listed in the full Advisory.
Consumers who possess this affected product should destroy it or return it to the store from which it was purchased for proper disposal. Consumers who experience adverse health effects after consuming the affected product should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the MED by submitting an MED Reporting Form.
A list of all HSAs issued in recent years is available on the MED’s Health and Safety Advisory page.
Regards,
The Marijuana Enforcement Division
