Alert: Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency Announces Next Statewide Municipality Summit in March

February 18, 2026 – In response to the positive feedback from the statewide municipality summits held by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA), and in keeping with its commitment to engage in transparent communication with stakeholders, the CRA has announced the date and time for its next statewide municipal summit.

The summit will be held via Zoom on March 11, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am.

Staff from the CRA’s legal, licensing, and enforcement divisions will host a 90-minute Zoom call. In addition, there will be time set aside for the CRA to answer questions from local municipal officials. Please send questions to CRA-SocialEquity@michigan.gov by March 4, 2026.

Local municipal officials who have previously RSVP’d for one of CRA’s municipal summits will not need to RSVP again but should keep an eye on their email box for a new email link the week of the event.

Municipal officials who have not previously RSVP’d may do so by sending an email to CRA-SocialEquity@michigan.gov by 5:00 pm on March 4, 2026. Officials who RSVP should include the name of their municipality as well as the name, email address, title, and phone number for all those planning to attend. The CRA will confirm attendance via email, including the Zoom link, in the week prior to the date of the summit.
