The Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) is issuing this consumer advisory due to the presence of Aspergillus flavus in Gelato Orangeade hybrid flower. Consumers who purchased this product are urged to check their packaging for the UID and batch number listed below and dispose of it appropriately.

Consumers

If you purchased this product:

  1. Check your package for the UID and batch number above.
  2. If the numbers match: dispose of the product or return to the retailer for proper disposal.
  3. If you are experiencing symptoms or any adverse reactions, contact your physician immediately.

Licensees

DCC sent notices to all retailers with this product in their inventory with instructions to collect, segregate, and quarantine all units until they are transferred to a Distributor or destroyed. If you are a licensee impacted by this recall, and have questions, please contact recalls@cannabis.ca.gov.

All retail sales and distribution of the adulterated batch must cease immediately. It is unlawful to distribute, sell, hold or offer for sale an adulterated cannabis good.
