The Arizona Repeal Marijuana Legalization Initiative may be on the ballot in Arizona as an initiated state statute on November 3, 2026.
The initiative would repeal the majority of laws and regulations enacted by Proposition 207, which legalized the possession and use of marijuana for recreational purposes.[1]
Proposition 207 was established after voters approved the measure in 2020, with 60.03% voting to approve the measure.
The initiative would not criminalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes. It would allow personal possession and consumption of one ounce or less of marijuana and would permit the possession of up to six marijuana plants for personal use. The initiative would repeal laws that permit and regulate retail sales of marijuana.[1]
