Job Title: Attorney – Hemp Law Group / HLG (Employed by Litson)
Location: Nashville, TN
Type: Full-time (hiring immediately)

HLG operates under a subscription-based model offering 24/7 regulatory and legal support, license and permit management, compliance audits, contract drafting, opinion letters, and defense representation.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced attorney to join HLG (employed by Litson) to support a high-growth practice dealing in hemp and CBD law. You will draft, review, and advise on regulatory, licensing, contracts, and compliance matters across federal, state, and local levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and corporate documents
- Provide regulatory and licensing guidance specific to hemp/CBD businesses
- Monitor evolving hemp, cannabis, FDA, and agricultural law and advise accordingly
- Issue opinion letters and regulatory memos to clients, regulators, or third parties
- Advise on compliance, enforcement, and defense strategies
- Work collaboratively with the compliance team and operations to support client needs
Qualifications / Skills:
- Must be a licensed and sworn-in attorney in good standing
- Experience in regulatory law, licensing, or related fields (hemp/cannabis law preferred)
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Comfort with evolving and ambiguous legal frameworks
- Ability to stay current on state and federal hemp/cannabis laws
- Self-starter, able to handle multiple issues and collaborate across teams
