Australia: ASX Listed Althea Says It Now Has 2000 Cannabis Patients On Its Books

ASX-listed medical marijuana company Althea says it is providing cannabis to nearly 2000 Australian patients with debilitating conditions.

Melbourne-based Althea says 1925 patients have been prescribed medical pot in Australia by 296 healthcare professionals.

The company said that in August 392 patients were prescribed their products.

“Althea continues to facilitate a growing number of Australian doctors to prescribe Althea medicinal cannabis to patients all over the country, with thousands of Australians now benefiting from treatment with Althea medicinal cannabis,” chief executive Josh Fegan said.

“Althea is focused on medical education and this is proving that by working closely with healthcare professionals, medicinal cannabis can reach an ever-increasing number of patients.”
