14 firearms and a range of drugs have been seized following the search of a Gordon property last week.
As part of an investigation into firearms trafficking and manufacturing, a warrant was executed at a Portland Flat Road home last Thursday.
Seven handguns, including four-homemade weapons, a home-made flame thrower, a 3D printer, over 70 mature cannabis plants and a small quantity of methamphetamine were among the items located by police.
A 47-year-old local man was arrested, charged with a range of offences and bailed to appear at the Bacchus Marsh Magistrates’ Court in December.
The investigation remains ongoing.
