The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said Thursday that Air Cargo Control Unit at Karachi Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle hashish worth over Rs 30 million, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The FBR said that the hashish was hidden in a parcel coming from the US which was falsely declared as books.
The Federal Board of Revenue said Pakistan Customs was ensuring enforcement against smuggling through all channels including international mail. The FBR is committed to protecting government revenues and combating illegal trade.
