JAZAN/ASIR — Border Guard land patrols arrested five violators of the Border Security Law and seized 150 kg of khat, 30 kg of hashish and 4,488 tablets in two separate operations across Jazan and Najran.
In Jazan, Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Aridah Sector arrested three Yemeni nationals, violators of the Border Security Law, for possessing 150 kilograms of khat.
In Najran, Border Guard land patrols in the Sharurah Sector arrested two Yemeni nationals, violators of the Border Security Law, for attempting to smuggle 30 kilograms of hashish and 4,488 tablets subject to medical circulation regulations.
The initial legal procedures were completed in both cases, with the suspects and seized items handed over to the competent authority.
