Brazilian outlet ‘UOL’ reports, FC São Paulo’s team bus was allegedly seized by police with 86 kilograms of marijuana on board. According to the report, the whole thing apparently happened while the bus was on its way to pick up the team from the Brazilian metropolis and then drive them to Bolivia for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana round of 16.
The team was reportedly not yet on board at the time of the police check. The bus’s three drivers were arrested. Since the bus was not allowed to continue after the inspection, the bus company had to quickly arrange another vehicle that could take the team to Bolivia.
