The Division is excited to announce that it will be establishing a standing advisory work group to discuss the social equity program and its effectiveness, and to generate potential rule (and other) recommendations. The Division will facilitate this work group similar to the way the Division currently co-facilitates the Science & Policy Work Group. Meetings of the Social Equity Program Advisory Work Group will begin in late July or early August and will be open to the public.
If you are interested in serving on the Social Equity Program Advisory Work Group, please answer the questions contained in this Google Form. You do not need to apply for your voice to be heard – each meeting of the Advisory Work Group will allow time for public comment and all meeting materials will be made available on the MED’s website.
The Division looks forward to facilitating these discussions and inviting interested stakeholders to the table for the continued improvement of the state social equity program.
