The father charged along with 13 current and former Penn State University students in connection with an alleged cocaine trafficking operation is a member of a prominent Pittsburgh law firm.
Paul Robinson — whose son Thomas Robinson was named as one of two leaders of the drug ring — was charged with felony tampering, hindering apprehension for taking steps to conceal evidence and obstructing the investigation, according to state prosecutors.
Prosecutors allege Robinson concealed evidence, including drugs and cash, in a safe.
The elder Robinson is an attorney at Meyer, Darragh, Buckler, Bebenek & Eck, PLLC headquartered in Pittsburgh, according to the firm’s website.
Robinson’s areas of practice include transportation, products of liability, commercial law, construction law and insurance litigation/coverage.
