The opportunity…

This position directs branch operations relating to the enforcement and administration of Yukon’s Liquor Act, Cannabis Control and Regulation Act, Lottery Licensing Act, Public Lotteries Act and associated regulations and Board policies. This position holds an appointment as Inspector and Registrar as defined under these Acts.

  • Post-secondary education in public administration, management or other relevant discipline;
  • Considerable management experience, preferably in an enforcement and or regulatory field;
  • Experience developing, implementing and evaluating strategic plans, programs and policies;
  • Considerable experience leading and developing people; and
  • Experience overseeing and managing financial resources;

 

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
