Even after the partial entry into force of the German Cannabis Act (“CanG”) on 1. April 2024, the regulatory framework is still in motion. What impact will the draft law to amend the CanG (to implement the Federal Government’s protocol declaration) have for interested industry partners? Does the draft Consumer Cannabis Science Competence Ordinance (“KCanWV”) mean that the second pillar of German cannabis legalization can be implemented without the passing of a separate law?
