The owner of Piggly Wiggly in Fairhope is seeking a permit to sell consumable hemp products, News 5 has learned.
The item is on tonight’s city council agenda. The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m.
Fairhope passed an ordinance back in the spring allowing drinks, topicals and edibles to be sold within city limits under strict testing.
