Amendment to the Narcotics Act: HHC and other substances newly regulated
2026-05-22 | The Federal Ministry of Health has published the Twenty-Seventh Ordinance amending annexes of the Narcotics Act in the Federal Law Gazette. The regulation adds several new substances to the schedules of the law.
In Annex II, various synthetic opioids and stimulants are newly listed. Prominently included is hexahydrocannabinol (HHC). However, medical cannabis within the meaning of the Medical Cannabis Act and non-synthetic forms placed on the market for non-medical purposes are excluded from classification.
