A rather nicely written piece but we can’t work out why they, like other media, seem to think that a regulated UK medical cannabis market is coming anytime soon.
They write
The only question is where in Europe the revolution will begin. It’s not likely to be the UK, although once we see our continental neighbours relaxing policy, we’re likely to follow suit. Cannabis, in some form or another, is coming to a pharmacy near you much sooner than you think

I suppose if you think that 2025 is soon then they are probably on the mark.
Our private discussion with a parliamentary researcher implied nothing much would be done with cannabis until Brexit is washed through and that could at this stage be a two term process. Nothing anybody said on any of the panels disabused us of that notion.
Although if you are looking for activity in the British Isles, head to the Channel Isles or maybe the Isle of Man.
