Illinois To Delay Next Round Of “Conditional Adult Use Cannabis Dispensing Organization Licenses”

“In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Pritzker will sign an executive order that suspends the requirement for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to issue up to 75 Conditional Adult Use Cannabis Dispensing Organization Licenses by May 1, 2020. The requirement will be suspended for the duration of the ongoing Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, or until IDFPR otherwise announces a new date. IDFPR will provide a public notice announcing the new date when licenses will be issued and will seek to do so as soon as feasible.”
