Cannabis cultivation associations: High fees in Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria
When the Consumer Cannabis Act comes into force, fees will be charged in Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria for the application of cultivation associations to cover the administrative costs.
In Schleswig-Holstein, the costs depend heavily on the amount of testing required and can amount to over 4,000 euros for extensive procedures. Fees are also charged if the application is rejected, depending on the amount of work involved.
In Bavaria, an advance payment of between €2,700 and €3,500 is required in advance, based on the importance of the matter and the planned number of members. This advance covers administrative expenses, possible on-site inspections and the involvement of third parties. In the event of non-payment, the application is automatically withdrawn.
