CCB takes action on retail relocation requests (May Board meeting)

At its regular meeting on May 27, the Cannabis Control Board voted to defer processing of new relocation requests from incumbent retailers, pursuant to Rule 1.7.2, at least until the Board develops and proposes for adoption consensus language on retail siting consistent with 7 V.S.A. § 881(a)(5)(F).

Retailers should not plan to relocate until a retail siting rule is developed. Exception may be made if retail site becomes unusable due to events beyond the licensee’s control.

New: Employee ID lookup tool

The CCB recently launched a new tool for business owners or supervisors to validate an employee ID card. This new lookup tool does not display personal information but will tell users whether an ID is valid and, if so, when the expiration date will occur.
