One of the pending rule amendments this year is a change to a required warning label for packaging, seen above. The Board is proposing changing to the ASTM-standard symbol for the “CONTAINS THC” warning, instead of the previous red-black-white image currently in use. (There is no proposed change to the “KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN” warning label at this time.)
To facilitate compliance with pending rule amendments, the Board has waived Rule 2.2.10(b) in order that licensees ordering labels may immediately order and use labels featuring the black-and-yellow ASTM-standard symbol above the words “CONTAINS THC,” in place of the outgoing red-black-white version.
If you have existing labels with the old warning, you can use up existing stock but should not order more unless it features the new warning seen above.
