Paraguay Police Seizes Moroccan Hashish During Package Inspections

The Tactical Force team of the 4th BPM (Military Police Battalion) of Ponta Porã, in the border region with Paraguay, seized approximately 668 grams of Moroccan hashish on Wednesday, August 26, during a package inspection.

The team was alerted after employees of a transport company identified suspicious materials inside two packages. During the verification, the police found portions of the Moroccan hashish, totaling 668 grams.

The two packages had the same origin but were intended for different recipients in the state of Minas Gerais.

In light of the facts, all seized materials were forwarded to the First Civil Police Station, where appropriate measures were taken.

The occurrence was registered as drug trafficking and will be available to the competent authorities for investigation.
