BAGUIO CITY — Police arrested a massage therapist after seizing a marijuana plant and seedlings from his residence in La Trinidad, Benguet, on Sunday.
The suspect was identified as a 43-year-old resident of Barangay Pico, La Trinidad.
Police went to his home to serve a search warrant at past 6 am.
Confiscated during the operation were one fully grown marijuana plant in a flower pot, with a standard drug price of P200, and two marijuana seedlings valued at P240, for a total standard drug price of P440.
Police said an inventory of the seized plants was conducted at the scene.
The suspect was taken into police custody following the operation.
