A postal worker has helped bust a home cannabis farm after noticing something suspicious about a package.
Police have busted a small-scale cannabis farm in South Australia after a postie noticed something suspicious during his rounds.
Police will allege a postal worker in Mount Gambier noticed a “strong smell of cannabis emanating from a package” August 8.
The postal worker handed the parcel to police, who found around 53 grams of cannabis in various sealed packages.

It sparked a police investigation and search of a Mount Gambier property on August 1.
During the search, police found and seized 25 cannabis plants and more than 2.5 kilograms of dried cannabis.
Police arrested and charged a 55-year-old man after the search.
