The inaugural Psychedelic Awards 2026, presented by Psychedelic Literacy in partnership with the California Institute of Integral Studies, will recognize extraordinary leadership, service, and stewardship in the psychedelic field. This special evening will bring together leaders in psychedelic research, therapy, philanthropy, nonprofit service, education, and culture for a ceremony of recognition, reflection, and community. The 2026 awards will honor Stanislav Grof for his lifetime contribution to the field of consciousness research and psychedelic therapy; Betsy Gordon for her philanthropic leadership and support of psychedelic education, research, and archival preservation; and the directors and producer of the Netflix documentary In Waves and War — Bonni Cohen, Jon Shenk, and Jessica Anthony — for their contribution to public understanding of psychedelic-assisted therapy and trauma healing. Confirmed participants offering tributes, moderation, and hosting include Rick Doblin, Eliza and Peter Palandjian, Adele Getty, Michael and Annie Mithoefer, Chris Bache, Bill Richards, Janis Phelps, Roger Walsh, Diane Haug, Sylver Quevedo, Bob Jesse, Mei Xu, Charlie Grob, Angel Gambino, Stephanie Schmitz, Judie Wexler, Tyler Norris, Kristina Soriano, Gisele Fernandes, Jonas Di Gregorio, and others. The inaugural Psychedelic Awards will take place at the Chorus Theater in San Francisco. Theater doors open at 4:00 PM. The Awards Ceremony will take place from 5:00–7:00 PM.
