Description:
Black & Wadhams is looking for Senior Associates and Partner Attorneys to join our expanding practice with select opportunities within our Business Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Transactional Groups. We currently have offices in Las Vegas, Reno, and Carson City, NV. Black & Wadhams is seeking to add experienced, smart, outgoing, and independent attorneys to our established and growing firm.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates would be expected to possess the following qualifications or attributes:
- A license to practice law in the state of Nevada.
- Solid academic foundation and an established professional record.
- Substantive transactional experience and/or litigation experience.
- A flexible, personable, and team-oriented attitude and approach, with a willingness to seek feedback and collaborate with other firm attorneys.
- An ability to think out-of-the-box, and operate in a fast-paced and growing small firm environment.
- The ability to handle multifaceted legal issues and see projects through to conclusion.
- The ability to communicate with sophisticated clients who expect their counsel to possess a high level of skill and the ability to distill complex issues to offer decisive and practical recommendations with sound judgment.
- A strong sense of purpose, drive, and the desire to achieve the best possible outcome in every instance.
- Knowledge of patent law and procedure.
- Knowledge of cannabis law at local and state levels of government; however, we assist with developing cannabis law practice.

Salary Range:
Black & Wadhams’ compensation is merit-based. The salary range for this position is $85,000 – $200,000, depending on skill and portable book performance.
