Sweida, July 20 (SANA) Syria’s Drug Enforcement Administration seized nearly half a ton of hashish after foiling an international drug-smuggling attempt in the southeastern countryside of Sweida province.
The administration said the operation was carried out in coordination with the Internal Security Command in the Badia region following what it described as a precise security operation.
It said the confiscated drugs belonged to outlaw groups operating in Sweida.
