Ethiopia’s intelligence agency (NISS) has arrested Stella Mukisa, a Ugandan national, along with other individuals for allegedly smuggling 500 grams of cocaine through Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport.
In a statement, NISS said the illicit substance was intercepted during a high-vigilance inspection conducted by aviation security experts in coordination with partner agencies.
Mukisaa was in transit from Lilongwe, Malawi, to Manila, Philippines, when she was apprehended.
