UK: Is China Exporting Contaminated CBD To Be Sold In The UK Market

StillCanna Inc CEO Jason Dussault has warned Brit patients relying on CBD of the “wild west” consumer market full of “dirty” CBD oils. Some may ignore this story as it is published in tabloid, The Daily Star. We’d suggest that China isn’t the only unregulated market that producers, brands, white labellers etc will be importing their “CBD” from. Only this morning CLR was talking with a US based source who had recently spoken with a lab based in an east coat state that had identified one batch of “CBD” as 99% olive oil. At least it was only olive oil, counties like china will be sending both unintentionally and intentionally “product” that will contain far more dangerous compounds.

THE UK’s booming medicinal cannabis industry could be invaded by toxic CB polluted in China, an expert has claimed.

Cannabis products were first made legal on the NHS in Britain for medicinal use in a groundbreaking move last year.Since then, CBD products have become hugely popular on the shelves of pharmacies, health shops and even supermarkets.People are hailing it as a medical marvel, soothing pains from a variety of illnesses and giving multiple health benefits. But cheap, badly made CBD products containing very little cannabis oil and toxic pesticides could be sweeping the UK market.StillCanna Inc CEO Jason Dussault has warned Brit patients relying on CBD of the “wild west” consumer market full of “dirty” CBD oils.He said: “People sometimes end up buying products that contain such little CBD they have no meaningful therapeutic effect.“People are being cheated at the expense of their health and wellbeing.”He continues: “Consumers are at risk due to the lack of transparency as to the origin of many questionable CBD products.“And there are insufficient government mandated quality controls to guarantee their safety.”While toxic CBD can come from anywhere in the world, the market is seeing cannabis heavily imported from China into Europe. This can then be processed into legally marketable CBD oil.Toxic cannabis is grown on a large scale in regions of northern China, where it is exposed to airborne pollutants and smog-like black dust.Because Hemp is so good at absorbing contaminants from the soil and nutrients, it takes on a lot of the poisons from the air. With China being the largest exporter of CBD sold in the UK, this is putting customers at risk.Mr Dussault has advised anyone looking for CBD products to always seek third party lab results to avoid toxic CBD, as the industry continues to grow.He added: “There’s no putting the genie back in the bottle now.“Patients are increasingly using CBD oils freely for both medically documented ailments and self-disagnosed health issues.
